Going Bananas - Day Four

Today we learnt that Jesus is our substitute! Pilate wanted to release Jesus, because he had done nothing wrong. But the crowds shouted for Barabas to be released. When Pilate asked them what he should do with Jesus, they shouted out "Crucify him!". Jesus died on the cross. This was really sad news. But there is good news! Jesus died for us. Jesus paid the price for all our mistakes. This means that we can be friends with God again, even though we've made mistakes.

Going Bananas - Day Three

What a fun day at Going Bananas! We enjoyed ourselves so much! Who could have thought that with 5 loaves and 2 fish, Jesus could feed 5,000 men, not to mention the women and children! Jesus can do miracles and he wants us all to be a part of his team. 'Team Jesus' is the best ever, and everyone can play their part.

Going Bananas - Day Two

POWER! What a powerful person Jesus is! When he gives the command to heal someone, then they are healed! The Centurion knew that this was the case and asked Jesus to heal his servant. Jesus was impressed with the faith of the Centurion and his servant was healed. This teaches us that we should put our faith in Jesus. His word is powerful!

Going Bananas - Day One

Champions Challenge is off to a flying start with everyone enjoying lots of food, games and activities. Today we heard about two builders. One was a foolish builder and he built his house on the sand. The other builder was wise. He built his house upon the rock. When the storm came the house of the foolish builder fell, but the house of the wise builder remained.Jesus teaches us that if we listen to what he says, then we are like the wise builder!

What? A Holiday Bible Club with games, songs, crazy leaders, Bible Stories and much more. This year we’ve turned sporty! We will be taking part in Champion’s Challenge!


Why? To discover more about Jesus, make new friends and have plenty of fun!


Who? Anyone in Primary 1 to Primary 7


When? Monday 29th March – Friday 2nd April


Time? 3.30pm - 5 pm


How Much? Completely free!
